Dear Church Family, We had a delightful time visiting Josh, Liza, and the grandchildren in Florida. The weather was warm and sunny. We enjoyed a visit to the Ringling Brothers Circus Museum, an art workshop at the art museum, walks on the beach, swims in their pool, good meals, plenty of games and story reading. It is such fun seeing the girls grow up and develop their personalities. This Sunday we mark Stewardship Sunday and the beginning of the season to consider your ongoing support of the church and its ministries. God urges us to set aside the first fruits of our labors for God as a way of establishing priorities in our financial planning. Your commitments also enables the church to plan wisely for the next year. On Sunday you’ll receive a stewardship letter from the Trustees and a commitment card which I hope you’ll return within a month. Worship promises some special music from the Godshall children. The sermon is “Service, not Survival.” The texts are Deuteronomy 26:1-11 and 2 Corinthians 9:6-15. See you in church. Rich
