Dear Church Family, More than 30 people have committed to praying daily for Andrea. The family is very grateful. I hope you figured out there was a typo in the Tennyson quote in the memo I sent out. It should have been “more things are wrought (not wrong!) by prayer than this world dreams.” This Sunday is Remembrance Sunday, a long-time tradition to remember those who have died before us and are part of that cloud of witnesses who have shaped us, and still shape us. It is an opportunity to remember those who have been a model of faith for us, and have challenged us to be our best selves in a world where we don’t always see Jesus’ values modeled. You have received the Trustees’ letter inviting you to include persons to be memorialized in the time of remembrance during worship. You are invited to make a memorial donation as well. Remembrance funds have been used in many building enhancing projects. Please get information to Susan Kelsey by noon Friday. The sermon title is “Talking with the Saints.” The texts are Proverbs 8:1-11 and John 11: 32-44. See you in church Rich
