Dear Church Family, Most of you heard Trustees’ Co-chair Terry Blass make the announcement last Sunday that the church has received an inquiry about selling the parsonage. The Trustees are proposing an informational meeting following coffee time this Sunday, June 29, to talk about this possibility. Terry suggested we give some consideration in advance to the pros and cons of selling the parsonage. Of course, this requires us to think about the church’s future mission. This is not an official congregational meeting, but an opportunity to provide input and ask questions. This will give the Trustees some guidance as they consider the options and make any specific recommendation. Of course, any decision to sell the parsonage would require a congregational vote. The focus of this Sunday’s worship will be the challenge Israel and the early church faced in securing good leadership. The texts are Joshua 1:5-9, Judges 2: 11-12, 16-19, and Titus 1:5-9. The title of the sermon is “Looking for Leadership.” See you in church Rich
